Did Sonic R grow into cult status? Rate Topic: -----

So I was watching those Youtube videos of Richard Jacques and T.J. Davis performing songs from Sonic R...





Not only did it remind me of Takenobu Mitsuyoshi singing Daytona at video game tradeshows, but got me wondering if the game, (and its soundtrack) which was not well received back then, somehow gained back a bit of respect through the years, perhaps even attained cult status.

I think the game sold well , but from the off , the Soundtrack was rapped in most reviews (same for Daytona )Just goes to show most reviewer haven't a clue , the music score is simply brilliant , much like Daytona's

Crappy camera, tearing, lousy control....it would take being a member of a cult to be nostalgic for this game.
