Its up on the 360 market place. Now before we get too critical SOL who works on the game posted on the GAF that the framerate is not final. thats the bad thing about demos. People judge a little to quickly. I always go into them with a "this is a work in progress" outlook. IMO, its really fun, and should be a total blast online. Very nice graphics too.

Just did a race its fun! Definetly a purchase for me. Yeah would be fun on Live for sure.

edit: But I do have so many games I am playing right now. Its coming out this month wow might wait a little bit.

Drifting is the key. Having a great time with this demo! It gets so crazy at times.

I played it and it's pretty fun. The game is pretty too, hopefully the developers will be able to improve the framerate as it slow down in some places.

It's also looks like a next-gen Mario Kart, something I haven't seen since... the Mario Kart on NGC.

I'll have to put this on my queue. The screen shots did look pretty good, so hopefully it turns out to be decent. I loved Sonic R so if it's anything like that I'll give it a shot.

Tried this out during the weekend. The demo was pretty enjoyable, though I wish they let you race on more levels. My girlfriend was able to do reasonably well and she normally hates racing games so I would say that's a win for Sega.

Did anyone else hate the commentator guy? Between the two of us we played 4 times and both of us were ready to turn the sound off because of it.

You can in the final version. And apparently the framerate WILL be smooth in the final version.

That's good to hear. Pretty fun game though. I'll probably wait until it's a little cheaper to consider picking it up. Seems like a good laid back game.

My ex roomie got a hold of a "copy" and he says the framerate is pretty choppy sometimes, no idea if it was a review version or something though. Would be pretty disappointing considering Sumo's previous games.
Got a copy incoming from Videogames Plus, so I will see Saturday or so.

Briefly, I tried it without logging into live first, and there were definately some framerate issues.. however, once you log into live, there is an update wich GREATLY improves the problems.. Its a BLAST to play and some WONDERFUL track design. I haven't tried multi player, so I cant comment on that. WELL worth the money IMO. lots and LOTS of stuff to unlock in this one.. glad I got it.

Demo wise, the framerate definitely killed it for me. But I thought the track was too small and not nearly as inventive as I hoped a Sega racer in the sonic world would be. It's fast and colorful- but so are a ton of more interesting car racing games. I was expecting Sonic level design more like Sonic R- loops- corkscrews, hills- large jumps and crazy powerups. Instead, it was a rather generic affair.

I wish they had more levels and racers to race in the demo- as this one does not give a good idea of what the game can do.

Thinking about getting this, but still waiting on a good spectrum of opinion. Have MLB the Show and Yakuza 3 on the way, so another game right now seems silly anyway.

Was curious on how the House of the Dead tracks looked and played.
