Same thing happened to me this week...this is one of my original 360,that already had been sent twice for repairs but now it`s not under warranty anymore...found a local guy here that repairs the RROD for 50 but his fix lasted for 4 months...so I greenbagged the freaking thing and I will personally throw the piece of crap in the garbage truck next time it comes around
Good luck with the repair guy...I tried, with 2 different persons but they never changed their minds.

So, of course I called and asked about it and confirmed that they are sending me a refurbished system, rather than my old system in a repaired state. They claimed that my system was unrepairable. I wonder if they said the same thing to the guy that used to own the system I'm about to receive later this week.
I'm fairly upset about receiving a refurbished system, especially considering the stories that I've heard from around here, with people having had to send in their systems for repair multiple times. I think someone is up to, what, 6 times now? I'm gonna be so pissed when this replacement system craps out on me after seeing only the moderate usage that I gave the previous one. I mean, it took almost three years for my 360 to die. So this replacement system will end up being far out of warranty by the time it craps out.
Also, if this replacement system has a MFG date prior to my dead system, I'm going to explode.

Los Grak: maybe you'll get lucky and get a better machine back. It's probly faster this way vs waiting for them to actually fix your machine. And what's to say that even if they fixed your machine and sent that back to you, that it won't die again? It's a shitty crapshoot, you might as well as get sthg back to play with vs waiting IMHO.

Anyway, I went through the whole boot up and set up sequence and began following the instructions for re-licensing my downloaded content. Once that was complete I disconnected from XBL, checked my games and none of them were available for play.
I was under the impression that, once I downloaded the games again, the games would be available for play on all of the accounts on my system whether I was connected to XBL or not. At least, that's what the sheet of paper with the DRM instructions on it was telling me. Am I missing something?
