Does this still include the "unofficial" drives? It wasn't too long ago I bought a 120GB off Meritline.com.

It looks like the 250GB bin file has been released. I will pickup a 250GB HDD and give it a whirl. :D

EDIT: 250GB HDD GOT! Will be doing this mod tonight.

Successfully modded to a 250gb hdd. I will wait until the fall update is out and confirmed that the HDDs are still ok before I transfer my 120gb info to the 250 gb. If it took the 20 gb 1 hour to transfer it will take over 5 hours for the 120!

So... Howzitgoin' at 250GB? It may well be time for me to replace the drive in my original 20GB unit. I was considering buying a new Elite with Mass Effect 2 this week...

Say... Has anyone tried installing something like a 64GB 2.5" SSD drive in an Xbox 360?

It won't be supported. :) Right now they are only able to do WD 2.5" HDDs. So far no issues with the 250GB HDD. I upgraded my friend's 20GB a few months back to 250GB and he's had no issues with it.

OK, cool. I'll look into picking up a 250GB HD sometime soon to upgrade my own 20GB drive. After all this time I've been sitting about with nothing more to work with. Thanks!

Damn, that's sweet. I don't have a PC w/ SATA. Would you do mine as well? I would need a data transfer as well...

I wonder if the new 360 totally kills this. MS might have redone the structure in the HDD.
