Honestly? Because graphic artists are quite literally a dime a dozen. There are a whole lot of people just as talented as I am. There are even more who are far more talented. Sure, there are those poor, cold, dead souls who look at it strictly as a 'job' which they do strictly from a clinical, technical viewpoint without artistic flair at all. But there are others whose work would literally make mine pale in comparison, no doubt. I love to draw, I always have, it was my ambition to make a living doing so. I did for some years, doing architectural CAD drawings and that was neat. But I got laid off from that around fifteen years ago and never found another job in the profession. So now I just do it for fun. :thumbup:

Don't worry though, I have a few ideas on the back burner, which I will debut here for all of you perhaps in the next year or so. All this talk lately of comparisons between The Watchmen, X-Men, HEROES/9th Wonder and the like have inspired me to resurrect my own endeavor. I'll have to do some writing before I actually produce the graphics though. I'm thinking of bringing in my Dad to work on it a bit too, as he is also an accomplished artist. There is another project I have in mind too, of a more comedic nature. Again, I want to write some stories before putting the graphics out there. I believe firmly in continuing storylines, so it is best to know where I want to go and have a firm outline of the path to reach it before I take anyone else along for the journey.

Oh boy Ronin-san, you know you just opened up a can of worms eh? Throw me up with one of the beggars for a logo. Nothing fancy; just one or two variants should be sufficient. I really like the ones w/ the starry bg in the font letters. No rush or pressure though; whenever you have extra time.

Hmmm... Experiencing a bit of a hosting issue, so I'll be back with more in a while. These are all GIFs, not appropriate for use in JGR. [EDIT: I just replaced all the non-showing pics with one JPG. ]

I managed to get online with my Dreamcast using a local area free ISP (for whatever reason the Free Dialup access from Roadrunner is denied me ). Now if I can just grab the appropriate type of browser that will get images into my DC VMUs, I'll be able to show you guys what some of these tags look like in Jet Grind Radio...
